Harrumph. No Brit-SF? No comics except for the most mainstream superhero cheese -- no manga, no European titles, no indies or undergrounds, not even freakin' VERTIGO, even? No animanga? No con stuff, or costuming, or fanfic? No historical reenactment stuff? No non-European history? This test stinks.
I didn't even have to entirely fake it, as I have a bunch of Western titles floating around -- mostly Dark Horse and Fantagraphics and Slave Labor and the like, but I figured it wasn't even really cheating to count Vertigo as being part of DC. But still, I sniff haughtily in their general direction! (And doubtlessly accumulate extra nerd points for objecting that they are insufficiently nerdy...)
LOL! Hilfy Chanur = the epitome of disgruntled in Chanur's Legacy ... I don't like her as well as her aunt Pyanfar, the star of the main Chanur series, but she looks very good on that cover!
